The Location Situated in Banora Point, the Darlington retirement living community offers contemporary villas and a coastal lifestyle close to beaches, national park, shops and clubs. The Role We are looking for a part-time Activities Officer\’s to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs based in our Darlington home in Banora Point. Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our Activities officers facilitate this through: Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs To be successful, you\’ll need: Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in Aged Care (essential) Previous experience in Aged Care Experience working with memory support (dementia) highly desirable Availability and reliability to commit to the required shifts Complete a police check NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain) Energetic and effective communicator Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain) A caring team environment with strong clinical and allied health support We provide a work culture that values you and invests in your career Generous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits – claim up to $18,550 tax free An Employee Assistance Program for staff and family Career progression and development opportunities Training and support plus development opportunities Range of discounts (300+) Apply Now Our application process takes less than 10 minutes.
