About the Role:
McKenzie Strickland Associates is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Architect to join our team. We specialise in ultra high-end residential, bespoke architecture, hospitality, and commercial projects across Scotland and internationally. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect to lead and run projects on-site, playing a key role in our ambitious and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of high-end architectural projects from concept through to completion.
- On-site Project Management: Manage projects on-site, ensuring smooth execution, quality control, and contract administration.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure clarity and efficiency in project coordination.
- Project Oversight: Take responsibility for project success by managing timelines, budgets, and technical solutions.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities for coordinating teams and stakeholders.
- Design Excellence: Design-led approach with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality architecture.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and take responsibility for project outcomes.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Archicad is beneficial (but not essential).
