Household name PLC seeks to recruit a Regulatory or Criminal Lawyer/Legal Executive. This position could suit a recently qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with either regulatory or criminal disputes experience. Our client will consider a full or part-time role.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team who advise the business across a broad range of disputes and regulatory matters.
- Raising commercial awareness within the business, overseeing statutory duties and taking early action.
- Running and defending prosecutions, advising the business on regulatory structure including enforcement action by and against the organisation and advising on scope of statutory powers.
- Primarily dealing with environmental disputes but may also include health & safety and data protection issues.
We are looking for:
- Recently qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with some exposure to regulatory law or criminal disputes procedure and practice.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, commercial and team skills.
