Quantity Surveyors – Junior & Intermediate

Positions: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor AND Junior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Castlederg, Northern Ireland (Northern Ireland Projects)

Job Type: Full- Time/Permanent

JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Role Summary

We are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience (or strong prior practical experience). Based in Castlederg, the role involves supporting an Intermediate QS and the wider commercial team on procurement, interim valuations, and project cost reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement
  • Support interim valuations and payment applications
  • Monitor and report on project costs

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • 1+ year post-qualification experience or relevant practical experience
  • Strong numeracy, Excel skills, and communication abilities

 

Desirable

  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts
  • Full driving license

 

 

INTERMEDIATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

 

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage procurement, valuations, cost control and financial reporting on construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in delivering commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project costs and commercial reporting
  • Procure and administer subcontract packages
  • Prepare valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Support site teams and ensure contract compliance

 

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with a building contractor
  • Knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts
  • Strong Excel and communication skills
