Our client is a well-established Accounting and Advisory firm experiencing a period of strategic growth. As part of their strategic expansion, they are seeking to bring additional leadership into the team to support continued growth. This role will lead the audit offering in Scotland from a base in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen. It is suitable for a very experienced Audit Director or an Audit Partner who has been working in and with Scotland based clients for several years. The successful candidate will have an appetite to build a portfolio of audit clients in Scotland with support from the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a client attraction and business development strategy.
- Execute plans to grow the audit practice and expand market share.
- Mentor, coach and develop senior audit talent, building a strong talent pipeline.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience and Skills
- Significant experience as a senior external audit professional in practice or professional services.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to lead on complex audit matters.
- Proven experience influencing audit quality and methodology.
- Demonstrable track record of developing teams and driving growth of an audit portfolio.
