About the Apprenticeship

This is a two-year, full-time Pharmacy Services Level 3 apprenticeship delivered in partnership with Belfast Met. It combines structured college learning with hands‑on experience in a busy pharmacy environment. You will work alongside experienced pharmacy professionals while developing the technical knowledge, confidence, and professional behaviours required to succeed in the pharmacy sector.

Successful completion leads to:

  • A nationally recognised Level 3 qualification
  • Eligibility for professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Strong foundations for career progression within pharmacy

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the programme, you will develop the practical and professional skills required to perform safely and effectively in a pharmacy setting, including:

This apprenticeship follows the community pharmacy pathway. Applicants must secure employment within a community pharmacy in Northern Ireland prior to starting the programme. The role includes:

  • A minimum of 21 hours employment per week in a community pharmacy
  • One day per week day‑release learning at college
