The Role

We're seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Pharmacy Dispensary Assistant to join our dispensary team.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days (consideration given to fewer full days)
  • Schedule: Typically 9am-6pm, Monday to Saturday (occasional rota hours may be required)

You'll work alongside our experienced pharmacists, playing a vital role in ensuring an efficient, accurate, and safe dispensing service while maintaining strict patient confidentiality and high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of prescriptions and delivery of professional pharmacy services
  • Support the Pharmacist with dispensary tasks including managing orders, stock control, and issuing prescriptions
  • Provide exceptional customer service on the medicines counter and throughout the pharmacy
  • Maintain stock levels, perform general retail duties, and ensure a clean, professional environment
  • Collect prescriptions when required
