We’re currently seeking experienced Fabricators and Welders for long-term opportunities with well-established structural steel businesses working on major construction and infrastructure projects across the UK. These are workshop-based roles within busy, high-quality fabrication environments, ideal for skilled tradespeople who take pride in precision, safety and consistent workmanship.
What you’ll be doing:
- Fabricating and welding structural steel components to a high standard
- Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
- Cutting, fitting, grinding and assembling steel sections
- Using hand tools, fabrication machinery and measuring equipment
- Working to strict quality standards and tolerances
- Supporting safe lifting and handling practices within the workshop
- Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety at all times
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication / welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working with heavy steel sections (e.g. beams, columns, plate)
- Strong workshop background in fabrication or manufacturing
