Job Description
Due to continued Growth Mc Innes Group have exciting opportunities for a Heating Engineer to join our team servicing predominantly Dundee areas.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated & come with a flexible & positive approach, be willing to go that extra mile for customers & take responsibility, have the ability to work on their own initiative, be technically strong & deliver to the highest standard at all times.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Domestic & small commercial Heating & Renewable technology installations. Consisting mostly of Air Source heating installations
- Engage with clients & Subcontractors where necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding
- Work on a day to day basis in line with the company’s core values
- Work Safely at all times
- Pass on experience & skills to apprentices / younger members of the team
- Other duties reasonably requested by Managers/Directors
Requirements
- Recognised Qualification SVQ, NVQ, City & guilds or equivalent in Plumbing
- Clean DBS certificate
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with domestic installation & maintenance
- Pro-active team player who is self motivated
- Ability to work both independently & within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Flexible approach to work with an ability to prioritise & manage your time effectively
- A strong interest in renewable energy
