Due to continued growth, McInnes Group have exciting opportunities for an Electrician to join our team based in Aberdeen-shire, predominantly covering the Aberdeen-shire area, with some travel outwith as required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, come with a flexible and positive approach, be willing to go that extra mile and take responsibility, have the ability to work on their own initiative, be technically strong, and deliver to the highest standard at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Domestic and small commercial Heating and Renewable technology installations
- Engage with clients and subcontractors where necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects
- Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding
- Work on a day-to-day basis in line with the company’s core values
- Work safely at all times
- Pass on experience and skills to apprentices/younger members of the team
- Other duties reasonably requested by Managers/Directors
Requirements:
- 18th edition (training can be provided to achieve 18th for the right person)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with domestic installation and maintenance
- Pro-active team player who is self-motivated
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Flexible approach to work with an ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively
- A strong interest in renewable energy
Desirable but not essential (training will be provided):
- Gas Boiler installations
- EV charging installations
- Solar PV and Battery storage installations
- Air source Heat pump installations
- Tetra working at heights
