We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused Project Co-ordinator to support the planning and delivery of live, virtual and hybrid events across MCI UK.

This is an ideal role for someone with 2–3 years’ relevant experience in events, project coordination, client servicing or operational delivery, who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.

You’ll support projects from proposal through to delivery, debrief and final reconciliation, helping to keep timelines, budgets, suppliers and delegate information on track.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a positive, solution-focused approach will be essential as you work with colleagues, clients and suppliers to deliver high-quality events.

Job Objective To co-ordinate and assist with the management, admin and delivery of projects, both in a face to face and virtual setting, from proposal, to delivery, debrief and final reconciliation in line with client brief.

Main Responsibilities To assist in the delivery of events across different departments (Corporate Events, PCO and DMC), on time, within budget and to meet and exceed client expectations.

Working with teams across our offices in London, Liverpool and Portsmouth Onsite management of events as part of a project team, or alone for smaller events, effectively managing suppliers and staff to ensure successful implementation of the project.

Address any issues and remain adaptable with effective problem solving, ensuring a high standard of delivery.

To maintain timelines and deliver priorities set on every project.

To effectively communicate, maintain and develop client relationships with a view to retaining existing business and identifying new opportunities.

To manage operational and administrative tasks as required to ensure the effective and efficient project delivery.

To support team members whilst maintaining motivation and enthusiasm to successfully deliver the project.

To assist in the building and maintenance of project budgets from conception through to reconciliation.

To pro-actively report on project timelines and activities.

To manage supplier relationships, actively seek opportunities and cross sell MCI product practices.

Actively attend supplier events to grow your network and industry knowledge.

To drive for excellence in client servicing and quality delivery.

Accurate and timely management of delegate database systems.

To maintain quality and adherence to processes, identifying and contributing to their improvement.

To represent MCI UK (and the wider group) as and when necessary or appropriate.

Relationships To liaise with internal staff at all levels across MCI as well as with clients, suppliers and trade and professional associations and industry bodies.

Requirements Two to three years direct relevant experience of the role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Great client servicing skills with a positive, solution focussed attitude Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask Excellent time management & problem-solving skills: highly organised, efficient, and detail-oriented Work both independently and with teams Computer literate in Microsoft products Fluent in both written and spoken English Eligible to work in the UK(MCI UK is currently unable to provide sponsorship)Regular UK and International travel will be required as part of this rolemci group is where you can bring your true self to work and be pround of what you do.
