We’re looking for a curious, creative and highly organised Marketing Executive to help raise the profile of MCI UK and showcase the brilliant work we deliver for our clients. This is an ideal role for a recent marketing graduate or early-career marketer who loves writing, social media, content creation and collaboration. You’ll support the Marketing Director in building brand awareness in the UK market, creating engaging content across digital channels, and helping our people, culture and client work shine.
You’ll work closely with teams across marketing, commercial, creative, operations and client delivery to turn our events, experiences and ideas into content that supports brand awareness, engagement and new business growth.
Main Responsibilities- Create engaging content for social media (mainly LinkedIn), email, website, blog and other digital channels.
- Write compelling short-form and long-form copy that brings MCI UK’s work, people and culture to life.
- Design eye-catching social media assets, email graphics and digital content using tools such as Canva.
- Build and distribute email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp.
- Help plan, schedule and publish digital content.
- Spot content opportunities from client work, events, team activity and industry trends.
- Attend selected events to capture content for marketing and promotional use.
- Maintain a clear, consistent and engaging MCI UK tone of voice.
- Support marketing activity that builds MCI UK’s visibility in the UK market.
- Help deliver marketing campaigns across social, email, digital and PR channels.
- Support newsletters, website updates, campaign trackers and content calendars.
- Research industry trends, competitors and relevant market moments to inform content ideas.
- Help with award submissions, case studies and thought leadership activity.
- Work with the Marketing Director and commercial teams to support sales and new business activity.
- Help create and update marketing collateral, pitch materials, credentials documents and case studies.
- Gather stories, proof points, visuals and project information from across the business.
- Support campaigns and content that help generate interest from clients and prospects.
- Work closely with teams across marketing, operations, commercial, creative and client delivery.
- Build strong internal relationships and confidently gather information from colleagues.
- Track basic performance across social media, email and digital content.
- Share ideas to improve engagement, reach and content quality.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate with colleagues across MCI UK, including commercial, operations, creative, client services and project delivery teams. You may also liaise with suppliers, industry partners, associations and PR contacts where relevant.
Job Requirements- A degree or qualification in marketing, communications, PR, business or a related subject, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to adapt copy for different audiences and channels.
- Experience creating content for social media, email and digital channels.
- Good design instincts and the ability to create engaging visual content for social media and marketing communications.
- Working knowledge of Canva and email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.
- A genuine interest in social media, digital content and what makes people engage.
- Good understanding of marketing principles.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with different teams.
- Curiosity, creativity and a willingness to share ideas.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience using HubSpot, Google Analytics or social scheduling platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, GEO, paid social, Google Ads or digital advertising.
- Experience creating video, reels or other social-first content.
- Experience using AI tools to support research, content planning or drafting.
- Internship, placement, freelance, university society or work experience in marketing, PR, social media or communications.
- Interest in events, experiences, brand activations, B2B marketing or agency life.
- Competence in Microsoft products.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and tools.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, GEO and SEM best practices.
