Hours: Full-time, permanent 40 hours per week (typically 7:00-4:00 or 7:30-4:30)
This growing Construction company in Failsworth is looking for an experienced Driver to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving light commercial vehicles (LCVs) such as transits.
- Occasionally towing trailers up to 3,500 kg.
- Driving flat bed vans would be ideal in this role but not essential.
- Moving construction materials around the North West region.
- Assisting in the stores, including loading/unloading and general support duties.
- During down time, assisting in the yard with tasks such as fixing plugs, painting, and other ad-hoc maintenance work.
- Supporting the Operations Team with day-to-day activities.
Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence (normal licence acceptable; additional licences for cherry pickers/flatbeds an advantage).
- Experience driving light commercial vehicles (2+ years preferred).
- Ability to tow trailers up to 3.5 tonnes.
- Ideally have own transport to travel to Failsworth to collect transit vans for daily work.
- Experience driving flatbed vans or scaffold wagons desirable but not essential.
- Willingness to take on varied duties beyond driving.
