An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive Temporary Staffing Team as a Staffing Bank Coordinator. This is a varied and rewarding role that plays a vital part in ensuring safe staffing levels across the Trust by supporting our bank workforce and working closely with departments to meet their staffing requirements.
Experience within temporary staffing, recruitment, workforce planning or an NHS setting would be advantageous but is not essential.
Main duties of the job
As a Staffing Bank Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the Trust's temporary workforce, ensuring a professional and efficient service is provided to staff and managers alike.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the onboarding process for new Bank staff.
- Managing agency and bank bookings to meet service demands.
- Liaising with clinical and non-clinical departments regarding staffing requirements.
- Supporting audit processes and complaint monitoring activities.
- Collecting, maintaining and reporting workforce data.
- Producing regular reports and management information.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively within the Temporary Staffing Team to deliver a responsive and efficient service.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a customer service or administrative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Experience handling enquiries, concerns or complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when managing data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Teams and Excel.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Managing Bank shift fulfilment for Depts/Divisions for all Staff Groups excluding Medics.
Responding to calls/emails with work related queries from Bank staff. Managing complaints received from Depts/Divisions relating to Bank staff issues .
Responding to external candidates looking to join the Staffing Bank. Discussing potential Temporary bookings with Managers, providing advice and support re systems use. Using Outlook, TEAMS, Allocate Optima,
