We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Real Estate Finance Solicitor (minimum 5 years’ PQE) to join our growing team. This role will focus on bridging and real estate finance matters, acting for lenders and/or borrowers in fast-paced, deadline-driven transactions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal advice while maintaining exceptional client service standards in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Managing a varied caseload of real estate finance matters, with a particular focus on bridging finance transactions
- Acting for lenders and/or borrowers on secured lending transactions
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and related documentation
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Providing commercially focused legal advice, balancing legal risk with client objectives
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of client care
- Liaising with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in a clear and proactive manner
- Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to team growth
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE
- Strong experience in real estate finance, ideally with exposure to bridging lending
- Proven track record of managing transactions efficiently and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial awareness with a practical approach to risk
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service without compromise
- Existing client relationships or following
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience
