Our client is an award winning Wealth Management organisation that is incredibly successful and well established. Due to continued growth and success of the business they are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about Financial Services.
The role of Paraplanner is involved and busy. You will support a group of Financial Planners and also have day to day responsibility for your clients and will develop strong relationships with your clients on an on-going basis.
Some of the key areas you will be involved with include:
- Tax planning – ISA and Pension contributions, CGT planning and tax wrapper selection
- Estate planning: inheritance tax and trust planning
- Individual funds reviews and portfolio reviews
- Review fund selection and identify fund switches
- Review portfolios to identify product sales and purchases
So some of your key duties will include:
- Attend client meetings with Financial Planners and take minutes of the meeting to reflect accurate and concise information
- Liaison with clients and keeping updated and arranging review meetings
- Conducting research and analysis of various products to match clients financial needs and circumstances – discuss these findings with the relevant Financial Planner
- Prepare recommendation reports and ensure adhere to regulatory standards before submitting to Financial Planner
- Conduct quarterly reviews of client’s portfolios to assess clients account and any changing circumstances
- Utilise various planning and research systems on a daily basis
- Keep up-to-date with industry knowledge and compliance
The perfect candidate will love Financial Services, be confident in communicating and be high on attention to detail and accuracy. You will be confident in working on your own but also be comfortable within a team environment. Good report writing skills also required. You will have experience within a similar role and possess either CII or Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as a minimum requirement.
