Network Engineer, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Networking, CCNP Level
A leading provider of Financial Services is seeking a Network Engineer with solid experience across the CheckPoint firewall estate.
The role:
The successful candidate will support firewall programs with experience in CheckPoint. Responsibilities include analyzing the existing estate, matching requirements from agreed solutions, and designing replacement strategies and changes to ensure a seamless migration between technologies.
The role involves close collaboration with a Network Management partner, and experience working within the UK Financial sector would be advantageous. Demonstrable experience at a design level on firewall hardware migration activities is also preferred.
Skills required:
- Cisco networking to a CCNP level
- ACI Network
- Command line Cisco ASA configuration & Check Point R81 (essential)
- Check Point R82 experience (preferred)
- Experience working at a CLI level with Cisco ASAs, as well as practical experience using Fortinet products
This position requires you to be in the office two days per week.
