Are you an experienced Automation and Observability Engineer looking to make an impact in a global financial services environment? We are seeking a talented engineer to join our Enterprise Technology Services team, delivering high-quality automation and observability solutions to enhance data protection and system reliability.
What you'll do:
- Work closely with internal teams to automate processes and improve alerting/observability solutions.
- Focus on enhancing the reliability of the data protection environment through automation or improved observability.
- Address complex technical issues, providing innovative solutions to accelerate service resumption.
- Collaborate with global teams and communicate effectively across varying technical specializations.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong automation and observability experience with Python, PyKit (Perl/PowerShell a plus).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), Git, and technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, and Ansible.
- Experience with REST APIs and debugging complex issues beyond documentation.
- Background in systems administration (UNIX/Windows) and knowledge of backup technologies (Veritas NetBackup is a bonus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
