Company Description

Our client is an innovative and well established Accountancy Practice who offers a wide range of accountancy knowledge within various areas. They work with high net worth clients – both individuals and businesses. They are now looking for a Client Accountant to join the business due to growth and expansion. It would be a real advantage if you had experience of working in an Accountancy firm.

Job Description

CLIENT ACCOUNTANT £18,000 – £25,000

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Accounting and enjoys this area. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Client Managers with portfolio of clients
  • Managing deadlines for year-end accounts
  • Be responsible for bookkeeping & VAT clients
  • Ensure all documents returned on completion of work
  • Liaison with clients and keeping up to date
  • Responsible for managing your own clients in regard to bookkeeping and year end accounts
  • Provide payroll support
  • Personal Tax for high worth clients
  • Daily use of IRIS and SAGE
  • Preparation of Self Assessments and personal tax computations
  • Assist the Admin team when required with general admin duties
  • Assisting in managing cash flow of the clients businesses

There is much more to this role and you will be provided with support and encouragement as you progress with your career. The working environment is lively, busy and fun! Although accounts qualifications a bonus we are more interested in good experience of working in an Accountancy Practice. Excellent benefits include: 25 days holidays, Flexi time between 7am-6pm, Pension, Private Medical after 2 years\’ service and study packages. Also you will be based in state of the art brand new offices!
