A tier one bank is seeking an experienced client facing VP with the ability to operate across a range of levels and business areas within the clients environment. The VP of Sales will have strong commercial awareness contribute to the directional strategy of the business coupled with the ability to navigate the internal organisation to co-ordinate the deal lifecycle and working closely with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the franchise across a specific client base
- Refine and implement a sales and marketing strategy aiming at improving client footprint and driving growth and wallet capture
- Ability to leverage existing network contacts, understand client needs, introduce offering and drive client solution
- A broad understanding of product and clients within the relevant target market and the ability to work with internal teams to construct compelling value propositions
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit and Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior sales experience at a financial services business ( ideally banking)
- Must have experience in a client facing role with buy-side community
- Strong client relationship and track record of winning business
