Paying up to 120k per annum, we're looking for a fully remote UI developer to own the desktop experience across macOS and Windows, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and real-time functionality. What You'll DoBuild and maintain cross-platform Electron applications. Develop responsive, real-time user experiences. Implement desktop functionality including filesystem access, notifications, auto-updates and deep linking. Integrate AI-powered features via backend APIs. Optimise startup time, memory usage and overall performance. Manage local state and message history efficiently. Work with WebSockets and other real-time technologies. Troubleshoot complex desktop and production issues. What We're Looking ForStrong software engineering background. Proven experience building production Electron applications. Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills. Experience with React or similar. Understanding of Electron lifecycle and IPC.Experience with SQLite, IndexedDB or filesystem storage.
