E-Trading Fixed Income – Senior Java Developer | London (Hybrid) | 6-12 month contract
We are partnered with a leading investment bank who is hiring a Java Developer with strong expertise in electronic trading systems to join their e-Fixed Income team in London. You'll play a key role in developing high-performance, low-latency trading platforms and integrating TransFICC connectivity.
We're looking for someone with extensive experience in the e-trading field and deep knowledge of Java, low-latency programming, and multi-threaded systems. You'll work closely with traders, quants, and analysts to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience with electronic trading is a must.
- Strong Java development skills with experience in low-latency, high-throughput systems
- Deep knowledge of RFQ workflows, e-trading infrastructure, and real-time data distribution
- Comfortable with Linux, TCP/UDP, and infrastructure-as-code (AWS, Ansible)
- Experience in test-driven and domain-driven development
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This is a hands-on, technically challenging role offering exposure to high-impact trading systems in a fast-paced environment.
Based in London (circa 2 days per week onsite), 6-12 month contract (extendable), competitive day rate
