A leading consulting and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing Non-Life Actuarial Risk & Capital team. The role focuses on supporting insurers and related organisations with complex risk, capital, and regulatory challenges across the general insurance market. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects involving capital modelling, enterprise risk management, regulatory change, and strategic advisory work across a broad client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide actuarial and strategic advisory services across:
- Capital modelling and validation
- Solvency and regulatory frameworks
- Financial modelling and forecasting
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Business planning and restructuring
- Lead and deliver multiple actuarial and multidisciplinary engagements simultaneously.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Support organisations in understanding and quantifying risk exposures and capital impacts.
- Contribute to the development of actuarial propositions and market offerings in areas such as ESG and climate risk.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members.
Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in general insurance actuarial consulting or industry roles.
- Expertise in capital modelling, risk management, or model validation.
- Good understanding of insurance risk drivers and dependency modelling.
