Are you an experienced Tax Business Analyst with a passion for transformation? We're seeking a proactive individual to lead tax-related change initiatives within a major financial institution's EMEA Finance division. This role focuses on FATCA, CRS, and UK VAT compliance across a multi-entity environment, driving process improvements, data governance, and solution design.
What You'll Do
- Deliver key projects including:
- VAT Transformation - Improve efficiency, data validation, and transparency in returns processing.
- FATCA/CRS Compliance - Enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Act as the primary BA for tax projects, supporting other finance initiatives as needed.
- Define requirements, design solutions, and manage testing across the full project lifecycle.
- Partner with IT and Architecture teams to implement tax engines and reporting solutions.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure robust governance and risk management.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Tax Business Analyst in banking or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and UK VAT obligations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and multi-GAAP environments.
- Hands-on experience with finance platforms (Oracle GL/Subledger, LoanIQ, Murex) and data tools (Snowflake, BI solutions).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional qualifications (CTA/ATT, ACA/ACCA) and data/analytics certifications are a plus.
