A leading global investment bank is expanding its Electronic FX franchise and is seeking an Electronic FX UI Specialist to join a highâperforming frontâoffice technology team. This role sits within a strategic eâtrading function responsible for the frontâend experience of electronic FX marketâmaking, pricing, and algorithmic trading platforms. You'll work closely with FX Trading and Sales, shaping UI strategy for both internal and clientâfacing toolkits operating in ultraâlow latency environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a UI specialist with deep institutional trading experience who thrives in fastâpaced, frontâoffice environments and wants direct influence on a growing FX franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop the frontâend UI strategy for electronic FX trading and marketâmaking platforms
- Design and build internal and external trading toolkits used by Sales and Trading
- Partner closely with FX Traders, Sales, and Quant/Tech teams to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Deliver highâperformance, responsive UIs suitable for latencyâsensitive trading environments
- Collaborate with global development teams across London and Asia
- Contribute proactively to product evolution and platform scalability
Essential Experience
- Strong handsâon experience with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript
- Expertise in modern UI frameworks such as React or Vue.js
- Proven experience building institutional trading tools within financial markets
- FX trading systems experience highly advantageous
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong focus on performance optimisation and UI responsiveness
- Confident working directly with frontâoffice stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Desirable
- Backend experience in Java or C#
- Experience working in electronic FX, market making, or algo trading
