Our client is seeking a commercially astute HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting their flagship division.
About the Role
You will be part of a wider HRBP team and partner with a client group of 400 employees, including a number of senior stakeholders reporting to the MD. This is a high-impact role requiring fast relationship-building, deep business understanding, and the ability to influence and shape strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and understand their business priorities
- Provide strategic and operational HR support across performance management, ER, and cyclical processes (e.g., pay and bonus reviews)
- Translate employment legislation into commercial conversations with senior leaders
- Lead and deliver central HR projects, such as leadership development and upskilling initiatives
- Partner with Centres of Excellence across recruitment, training, and reward
- Use talent frameworks (e.g., 9-box grid) to assess and develop talent in partnership with L&D

- Proven experience as an HRBP in an agile environment, matrixed organisation
- Strong generalist HR knowledge with strategic and commercial acumen
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Comfortable navigating change and contributing to transformation initiatives (e.g., AI adoption)
