Senior Business Analyst – Openlink, Commodities, Regulatory Reporting
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Rate: £600-£700/day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12-Month Contract

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Commodities Technology team in London. This role is ideal for a specialist with deep knowledge of Openlink , deal modelling , and regulatory transaction reporting (CFTC, EMIR, FCA, MAS, HKMA, MIFID, REMIT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Openlink, commodities trading, and regulatory compliance .
  • Collaborate with traders, regulatory teams, and IT to enhance reporting processes.
  • Lead regulatory reporting framework implementations and enhancements to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments , identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
  • Work closely with developers, QA, and compliance teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services and commodities trading (precious metals experience is a plus).
  • Extensive hands-on Openlink experience, with strong knowledge of deal modelling and Openlink data model .
  • Proven expertise in regulatory transaction reporting (DTCC regulations, EMIR, CFTC, FCA, MAS, HKMA, MIFID, REMIT).
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills (Python is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
