This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside one of our top-performing consultants, gaining exposure to a highly successful desk that consistently places talent across Software Engineering, Data, and Quant roles within leading financial institutions and fintech companies. Our team partners with clients across key US technology hubs including New York, Florida and North Carolina, giving you access to some of the most active and lucrative technology hiring markets globally.

You’ll join a fast-paced, high-performance environment where you will receive full 360 recruitment training, including sales, headhunting, market specialisation, and client engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global business during a major growth phase and develop into a specialist recruiter within the US technology and financial services market.

What you will be doing as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:

  • Advertising roles, identifying, and approaching suitable candidates
  • Managing applications, coordinating interviews, and shortlisting candidates
  • Building strong relationships with candidates and clients to deliver an exceptional service
  • Supporting placements across Software Engineering, Data, and Quant roles within banking and financial services
  • Generating leads and identifying new business opportunities
  • Networking within your specialist US technology market
  • Conducting candidate interviews and screening
  • Attending client meetings and supporting business development
  • Working towards targets in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Using sales, business development, and marketing techniques to attract new clients and candidates

  • Previous sales or commercial experience is advantageous
