Prestigious Investment Bank seeks a Technical Team Lead/Manager to provide leadership and oversight of the firm's highly successful global E-Trading Rates platform. The platform is built primarily with Server Side C# and related technologies, including C++.
Managing the team responsible for designing and developing the common pricing platform used across Rates/FX. Providing leadership and oversight for software developers in the team. Working with Stakeholders to ensure alignment between the business and technical direction of the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and innovation of the platform; draw on previous expert C# experience working on similar platforms.
- Collaborating with technology heads and business stakeholders in London.
- Interpretation of business requirements and facilitation of ideation for technical solutions.
- Enforcing bank policy and standards in the development and deployment of the applications.
- Accountable for the recruitment and development of new team members.
- Communicating delivery status and milestones to stakeholders
- Developing relationships across the technology organisation to ensure alignment and co-deliver overall business workflows.
Requirements
The candidate should have the following skills and qualities:
- Experience leading the design and development of high-availability, distributed platforms in the Front Office Pricing domain.
- Experience managing and directing small teams of technical experts.
- Experience of providing technical expertise and guidance to developers and overseeing the implementation and delivery of projects along with a pipeline of BAU enhancement/fixes.
- Technical/Development background with preferred experience in Server Side C# development.
- Knowledge of FX/Rate products.
