This role is for an experienced Advice Services Manager to join a growing Wealth Customer Proposition team that is redefining how Wealth Advice services are delivered. The role focuses on both overseeing existing advice services through periodic reviews and value assessments, while also contributing to the design and development of the future Wealth Advice proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the senior Advice Services lead in the development and ongoing management of Wealth Advice services and related offerings (including wealth advice, tax advice, protection advice, pensions, ISAs, and asset management).
- Keep the customer proposition and wider business informed on market trends, competitors, and regulatory developments impacting Wealth Advice services, identifying opportunities arising from changes in the landscape.
- Understand cost-to-serve and commercial performance across services, contributing to pricing and value-for-money recommendations.
- With support from data and analytics colleagues, take accountability for management information across advice services and develop a detailed, data-led understanding of the existing customer base.
- Own the end-to-end customer journey and experience across Wealth Advice services, working with client-facing, operational, and second-line teams to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. Maintain robust customer journey documentation.
- Conduct annual end-to-end product and service reviews, target market reviews, and fair value assessments to ensure services remain suitable and deliver positive customer outcomes, feeding insights back into the business and ensuring actions are followed up.
- Establish and maintain appropriate controls and test their effectiveness.
- Operate in line with the organisation’s risk management framework and relevant risk and compliance policies, ensuring timely escalation of any issues or concerns.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing and delivering advice services and financial planning products within the wealth management industry.
- Strong working knowledge of personal banking investment products and Wealth Management offerings.
- Solid understanding of the commercial drivers of wealth management products and services.
- Experience producing MI dashboards, supporting Consumer Duty outcomes, and conducting Fair Value Assessments and periodic product reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and seniority levels.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practice relevant to Wealth products and services, including Consumer Duty, MiFID, and related regulatory frameworks.
