3rd line Engineer, Azure , IAM, Customer designs We are looking for an experienced 3rd line Engineer Azure to join our growing consultancy team and play a key role in designing and delivering secure, resilient and cost-effective Microsoft Azure solutions for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on cloud professional who enjoys working directly with customers, leading technical workshops, designing solutions and delivering successful cloud transformation projects. The Role Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and successful delivery of Microsoft Azure solutions across a varied portfolio of enterprise customers. You'll work across the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through to implementation, testing and transition into support. While Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience is important, the role encompasses a broad range of Azure technologies covering infrastructure, identity, networking, governance, automation, migration and security. Working alongside project managers, architects, consultants and operational teams, you will provide technical leadership, ensure delivery quality and act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout each engagement. Key Responsibilities Solution Discovery & Design Lead customer workshops, technical assessments and discovery sessions Translate business requirements into scalable Azure architectures Design Azure landing zones, subscriptions, management groups and governance frameworks Produce high-level and low-level technical designs Develop implementation plans, estimates, risk assessments and bills of materials Ensure solutions align with security, resiliency, performance and cost optimisation best practices Azure & Azure Virtual Desktop Delivery Deploy, configure and migrate Azure environments using repeatable, supportable methodologies Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop solutions including: Host pools and session hosts Application delivery Image management Identity and access integration User profiles and storage Security, monitoring and scaling
