A investment banking client is seeking an experienced Business Manager with experience centred on strategic workforce planning and financial oversight, working in close partnership with Finance, HR and Senior Leadership to deliver operational excellence across the business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a strategic partner to the business unit leader, with accountability for driving operational efficiency, functional governance, and ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives whilst supporting the leadership team in delivering key business outcomes.
- Leading the adoption of workforce planning initiatives across functions and business areas, setting clear direction and building structured plans to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
- Overseeing Finance, Headcount and Resource tracking and planning in line with approved budgets and organisational priorities.
- Managing resource and skills planning alongside ongoing Organisational Health monitoring to ensure the business unit remains fit for purpose.
- Acting as the primary liaison between senior management and Global Function partners including HR, Finance, Legal and ICRM.
- Coordinating activity across multiple areas of the business unit, including business continuity planning, establishing clear action plans and accountability frameworks to advance business priorities.
