We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a large-scale enterprise technology environment supporting complex, global systems. This role sits at the intersection of data, architecture, and IT service management, playing a key part in aligning business data requirements with modern technology platforms.
What you will be doing:
- Gather, analyse, and actively track asset and configuration data requirements across multiple technology and business functions.
- Perform cross-functional analysis to identify synergies, gaps, and alignment with industry standards.
- Work closely with data architects to evaluate technical implementation options and validate solutions.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, assessing impacts of proposed changes.
- Support data discrepancy analysis, including data lineage across multiple systems.
- Create, maintain, and present high-quality data artefacts and documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to deliver milestones on time and manage change control activities.
What we are looking for:
- Several years' experience in data or business analysis roles.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including CMDB/AMDB data models.
- Solid understanding of data architecture and data lineage concepts.
- Knowledge of ITSM / ITIL frameworks and IT asset management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical materials such as scripts or configurations.
Nice to have:
- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments.
- Agile or programme management experience.
- ServiceNow, ITIL, or data visualisation certifications.
