Someone with experience in Windows-centric, multithreaded C++ and distributed systems could directly shape the performance and reliability of the firm\’s core trading platforms and UI surfaces – the very systems that ingest tick data, drive execution logic, and support traders in real time. This isn\’t an isolated backend service: you\’d be influencing front-office engineering, tight event loops, and low-latency user interactions from the ground up.

The firm\’s platform spans C++ to open-source tools, automated workflows, and massive data throughput – a great place for engineers who care about performance at scale.

This is an on-site role in Central London. In addition to the advertised base, this fund offers market-leading total comp with strong bonuses on offer.

Requirements:

– Excellent C++ Programming ability – you will have 3+ years of experience working in a low-latency/ high throughput environment

– Expert with Windows-based development with proven experience with STL, MFC, Wx Widgets or Win32

– Advanced knowledge of distributed systems

– Linux Red Hat essential

Nice to have:

– Extensive front office experience in trading

– Knowledge of Equities, Futures or Options

– Experience working on market data feed handlers and execution gateways
