Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide accurate price quotations, take customer orders, and manage them through to successful completion, with a strong focus on growing the customer base through proactive sales and business development.
- Work closely with the other managers and provide support to the transport team & clients to ensure customer expectations and agreed service standards are consistently exceeded.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a telephone-based role, with confidence handling customer conversations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a clear understanding of why accuracy is critical (essential).
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner (essential).
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, demonstrating clear and appropriate language use.
- A solid understanding of customer needs and the ability to respond accordingly.

- Experience using a variety of IT systems efficiently (essential), previous use of inspire hire or syrinx is desirable.
- Knowledge of plant hire & tool hire equipment.
- 2 years + experience in a hire desk position.
