A long-term contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a complex and highly regulated programme environment based in Berkshire. This role will suit an experienced planning professional with a strong background in Primavera P6, integrated scheduling, and Earned Value Management. The successful individual will work closely with programme teams to drive planning standards, improve schedule visibility, and support successful project delivery.
Position: Senior Planner
Contract Duration: 18 Months
Location: Aldermaston – 5 days per week onsite
IR35: Inside IR35
Engagement Type: Contract
Pay Rates PAYE: £44.16 per hour
The Role
The Senior Planner will take ownership of programme scheduling activities, ensuring accurate planning data is maintained and communicated across project teams. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing and maintaining integrated project schedules
- Supporting programme delivery teams with planning governance and reporting
- Performing schedule analysis and monitoring critical path activities
- Producing schedule performance and Earned Value reporting
- Coordinating planning activities across multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting forecasting, progress updates, and reporting cycles
- Facilitating planning reviews and stakeholder meetings
- Promoting the value and importance of effective planning processes
- Assisting with the development of planning procedures, tools, and best practice
- Supporting wider business and programme management activities where required
