Contract: Temp-to-Perm (Permanent after 12 weeksAbout the RoleWe\’re looking for a skilled and reliable Chute Fitter to join our Installation team, based in Dunstable.This hands-on role involves travelling to sites across the UK to install refuse and linen chute systems, as well as replacing hopper doors and discharge sections.You\’ll lead a two-person team on-site, ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and in line with safety protocols.Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site installations and liaise with site teams to coordinate access and address any issues.
- Install chute systems and components in buildings ranging from 1 to 60 storeys.
- Load and distribute materials to the correct floors during setup.
- Work as part of a two-person team, resolving issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Accurately complete worksheets and update digital job systems in a timely manner.
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience in duct fitting or similar
- Confidence leading small teams and making on-site decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight as needed.Solid understanding of Health & Safety best practices.
- Must have CSCS Card, SSSTS and ideally an IPAF
