Join Our Team as a Crane Operator in Liverpool!
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Crane Operator to join the busy operations in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity for candidates with crane operating experience, as well as those interested in expanding their skills in the port industry. You\’ll play a key role in discharging cargo and operating various cranes and plant machinery.
Licences Required: RTITB/ITSAR/NPORS
Working Hours:
- 07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various cranes, including Mobile Harbour Cranes, Ships Cranes and Gantry Cranes.
- Discharge a variety of cargo
- Use various attachments such as Hook and Grab to assist with cargo handling.
- Operate radio communication to ensure smooth coordination.
- Conduct pre-shift checks and report any concerns or issues to the appropriate teams.

The Successful Candidate:
- Must have previous experience operating cranes, such as, Mobile Harbour Cranes, Ship Cranes, Gantry Cranes or Material Handlers.
- Experience working within ports is desirable, though candidates with backgrounds in construction, offshore, or recycling industries are also encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience operating heavy plant (e.g., Loading Shovel, Skid Steer, Forklifts) is desirable, but not essential.
- Health and safety-conscious at all times and committed to following all procedures.
- Keen to learn new skills and progress within the ports industry.
