We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join our team working on large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing all earthworks operations on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This is a hands-on supervisory role managing teams, plant, and subcontractors on major civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day earthworks activities (cut & fill, excavation, grading)
  • Manage site teams, plant operators, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Monitor progress and report to senior management
  • Coordinate materials, machinery, and labour
  • Maintain quality standards in line with project specifications

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Earthworks Supervisor or similar role
  • Strong background in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
  • Full UK driving licence
