We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician/Supervisor with over 10 years of hands-on experience in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation units.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site as needed.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation.
  • F-Gas Certification (Category 1).
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
  • First Aid at Work certified.
  • Manual Handling trained.
  • Working at Height & Harness Training.
  • Fire Marshall certified.
  • Abrasive Wheels trained.
  • IPAF 3a, 3b (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms).
  • Full UK Driving License.

Desirable Skills

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
