We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team responsible for supplying critical Sentinel-qualified rail skills to a newly secured, strategic client. This permanent role sits at the heart of a brand-new framework win, offering the successful candidate the chance to shape service delivery from the outset, embed strong client relationships, and build a scalable, future-proofed recruitment operation alongside an established and supportive team.
THE COMPANY
MSS Infrastructure (formerly McGinley Support Services) is one of the UK's largest specialist, privately owned recruitment businesses providing the Infrastructure sector of the Construction and Rail industry with permanent, contract, and temporary staff at all levels and skills. We have been consulting and recruiting for over five decades and presently working on the biggest major infrastructure projects in Europe. Having just concluded an excellent 2025 which included growth in revenue and profits, we are poised for further success this year.

Commercial ownership of the account is a core requirement, with responsibility for identifying, developing and converting opportunities throughout the life of the framework using performance insight, market knowledge and client engagement. Overall service delivery across the framework sits within the remit of the Account Manager, including setting service expectations, managing delivery against agreed KPIs, and supporting clients with both short-term requirements and longer-term workforce planning. Contractual performance, compliance and escalation management form a key part of the role, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and customer confidence is maintained at all times. Leadership of the account team includes ensuring the right balance of skills and capability is in place to meet demand, alongside maintaining accurate systems, reporting and governance in line with company processes and policies. Contribution to monthly and annual budgeting and planning cycles is expected, supported by clear progress updates and commercial commentary to inform financial reporting and decision-making.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience working within rail infrastructure projects, including the recruitment and supply of Sentinel-qualified rail skills and direct engagement with rail contractors.
- Demonstrable background in managing complex client accounts or frameworks within a recruitment or workforce solutions environment.
