MSS Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Workforce Planner to support operations within a busy and fast-paced port environment based at Liverpool Docks. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with experience in workforce planning, labour allocation, scheduling, recruitment coordination, or operational resource planning. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring staffing requirements are met efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with workers, operational teams, and the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate workforce requirements to meet operational demands
  • Ensure all shifts are filled with suitably trained, compliant and available workers
  • Liaise with clients and operational teams regarding staffing requirements and operational changes
  • Monitor attendance, absence management and shift coverage
  • Respond quickly to operational issues, shift changes and staffing shortages
  • Maintain accurate workforce records, reports and planning documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, working time regulations and health
