We're looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Resourcer to join our central team of six at our Watford Head Office, supporting a £100m turnover recruitment business specialising in the rail and construction infrastructure market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in recruitment. You'll join our Railway & Civils recruitment team, where you'll receive full training, hands-on support, and clear progression opportunities within a fast-paced and supportive environment. No previous recruitment or rail experience is required - we'll teach you everything you need to succeed.
What you'll do (with full training):
- Learn how to source, attract, and engage candidates for roles across rail and civils projects
- Write and post job adverts across multiple platforms
- Manage applications and carry out initial candidate screening
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future projects
- Support experienced Recruitment Consultants with suitable candidates
- Use our CRM/database to update records and re-engage existing workers
What we're looking for:
- A strong work ethic and a genuine interest in recruitment
- Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using IT systems and social media
- A proactive, positive, and adaptable attitude
Previous recruitment, rail, or construction experience is not essential - full training will be provided.
