Are you a Plant Fitter Engineer and interested in working on the largest critical infrastructure project in Europe? Our client has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 225km section of the new high speed rail link between Euston and Birmingham, and we are proud to supply a Plant Fitter Engineer, among many other skilled trades and labour across multiple sites and projects. Presently, the scope of works includes viaducts, shafts, tunnelling, road diversions, over bridges and over 100 million cubic metres of excavation, over the course of the next 2‑4+ years. We have a lot of work ahead of us…are you the Plant Fitter Engineer we are looking for:
- Requirements:
- CSCS/CPCS/NPORS Card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Construction Plant Maintenance.
- Full driving licence
- Must have strong site‑based mechanical knowledge and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Experience using diagnostic tools for fault finding and performing machine calibrations is also essential.
Pay rate: £27.82. After 10 hours each day, rate goes up to 1.3x. Overtime rate: £37.00 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday.
Contract type: PAYEDirect only.
