We are looking for a Senior Foreman based in Manchester on a contract basis for a minimum of 8 weeks. The role involves coordinating and managing multiple foremen, enforcing standards, and supporting the delivery of the wider programme. Responsibilities include overseeing all on-site operations, leading multiple trade teams, and ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role acts as a key liaison between site management and the workforce, often taking responsibility for resource allocation, progress monitoring, safety compliance, and subcontractor coordination.
Ideal skills and qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Construction Site Supervision / Construction Operations Supervision
- CSCS Gold Supervisory Card (Foreman/Supervisor category)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Site Supervisor or Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Health & Safety Awareness Training
- Manual Handling Training
