Identifying and attracting candidates:

  • Record requests for candidates from others.
  • Collaborate with recruitment consultants and other requesters to gain an understanding of the specification of candidates required.
  • Research, identify and attract candidates using all appropriate methods to satisfy requirements.
  • Review existing database, re-activating former workers for potential placement.
  • Create campaigns, writing, placing and adapting adverts across different channels to reflect the skills or geographic locations requested.
  • Initiate, manage and develop candidate group relationships on social media or other appropriate channels.
  • Ensure all resourcing is undertaken in line with legislation, company policies, procedures and work instructions.

Processing applicants:

  • Monitor responses or applications received and maximise the number of candidates passing through the application process.
  • Record and maintain accurate data on applicants along with your relevant communications with them.
  • Process or part process Right To Work and ID checks if requested.
  • Qualify, shortlist and present suitable applicants against defined requests.
  • Develop a knowledge of market rates and conditions within requested skillsets in order to consult with applicants on pay.
