We are recruiting an HGV2 driver to work primarily on our multi-drop delivery services. These are specialised logistics contracts throughout Ireland that run on 2-5 day schedules. Full training will be provided. Our ideal candidate is hard working, reliable and has a positive attitude, with good customer service skills.

Duties:

  • Completing paperwork as required
  • Ensure the safe loading/unloading of your vehicle
  • Leading your crew onsite
  • Working within a team of drivers & porters
  • Specialist packing, moving, storing and installing
  • Working on specialist logistics contracts held by McGimpseys
  • Maintaining good vehicle cleanliness
  • Completing daily vehicle checks

Requirements:

  • Clean driving licence
  • Digital tacho card
  • Up to date CPC
  • Aged 25+ for insurance purposes
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Comply with companies non-smoking policy
