Position Summary:
This is a Work study position. Only McGill University students who are currently enrolled in a program (excluding Faculty of Education program) are eligible to apply. Applicants must be Work Study Program eligible.
Primary Duties
- Attending to the front desk, giving information to visitors , and directing them as required
- Answering e-mails and phone calls in a timely & professional manner
- Following up with different parties by email.
- Organizing digital files.
- General clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, shredding, etc.
- Assisting with special events and projects during the course of normal working hours.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good knowledge of McGill’s campus, services and resources.
- Ability to be focused and flexible, and work in a busy environment. Ability to work in a PC environment.
- Basic web editing experience is an asset.
- Punctual, organized and professional.
- Good command of English is required; French is an asset.

Hourly Salary
(AMUSE A) $17.00
