Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our hygiene and engineering team.
This role involves assisting with the general maintenance of machinery and infrastructure across our site.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with a hard working attitude.
This position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical strip downs of machinery to support the hygiene team with in depth cleaning
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities undertaken.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills
- Provide excellent 'can do' attitude, working professionally and efficiently.
- Proficiency in mechanical repairs.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in maintenance roles within food manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential.
