Company Description: McGeoch Technology Ltd. is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham. Due to their current projected growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of Fabrication / Welder. The successful applicant will be based at our client's production facility in Birmingham city centre.
The Role: Reporting to the Production Manager as part of the Fabrication / Welder team, your responsibilities will include preparation and welding of mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, with thicknesses of material ranging from 1mm - 10mm.
Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Technical Duties: Fabrication of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components as required, ensuring that the highest standards in finish and tolerances, in accordance with information supplied, are achieved using sound “trade” methods.
- Must hold the following accreditations: BS EN ISO 15614-1, BS EN ISO and approved to weld Butt, Fillet and plug.
